Nurture and Nest was born from a simple desire to find peace, purpose, and creativity during a time of uncertainty. Like many, the pandemic brought unexpected challenges and a need for something grounding. For me, that grounding came—quite literally—from the soil.
It started with one humble houseplant and a milk carton filled with soil, where I planted seeds saved from a supermarket tomato. To my amazement, that carton sprouted into a thriving tomato plant, and from that moment on, I was hooked. What began as a small experiment quickly grew into a deep passion for nurturing life through plants. My home filled with greenery, and soon I was growing not only houseplants but also my own vegetables. Taking on an allotment gave me the space to expand—growing flowers, edible plants, and exploring new ways to connect with nature every day.
Nurture and Nest was created to share this joy. It's a small business with a big heart, offering thoughtfully curated houseplants and handcrafted terrariums designed to bring beauty, calm, and a little bit of wonder into everyday spaces.
